Todos Somos Voleibol - TSV Host Marco Hinojos and Co-Host Ruth N. Nelson will be celebrating the 1964 and 1968 Women's Olympic Team members.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognized volleyball as a non-Olympic sport in 1949, and in 1957, the IOC cast their votes and volleyball was made into an Olympic sport in 1964 in Tokyo, Japan, with the Japanese Women winning the first Gold Medal and later in 1976 Montreal won yet another Gold.
January 2024 will provide us a 60 year anniversary of Volleybal as an "Official Sport"
